The key to VT brakes on your VB–VP, Commodore Conversion Hubs by Lowe Fabrications
If you’re upgrading the front brakes on your VB, VC, VH, VK, VL, VN or VP Commodore to VT–VZ spec twin piston calipers and larger rotors, you’ll need the right hubs to make it happen. That’s where Lowe Fabrications steps in.
These Machined front Commodore Conversion Hubs are engineered specifically to suit early Commodores and allow direct fitment of VT-style brakes. No spacing, no guesswork — just proper geometry and hardware that works first time when fitting brakes from the later mode VT-VZ Commodores.
Each hub is precision-machined in-house and includes Timken brand bearings and dust seals, pre-fitted for ease of installation. Pair them with your VT calipers and rotors for a complete bolt-on solution.

Why use the the Lowe Fabrication Conversion Hubs for your brake upgrade?
This conversion hubs modify the rotors spacing to allow the fitment of VT-VZ front brake calipers to your early VB-VP Commodore. Unlike the later model VT onwards Commodore with it’s bolt on wheel bearing assembly, the earlier commodores encorporate a spindle on strut type arrangement with brake rotor spacing which is not suitable for the later model calipers. These Commodore conversion hubs completely replace the original hubs and create the appropriate spacing and alingment so that the more modern caliper solutions are a direct fit.
