Holden Commodore Fuel Tank Upgrade – Suits Holden VB to VS Commodore
Engineered for serious builds, this Lowe Fabrication fuel tank is the ultimate upgrade for your VB–VS Commodore — whether solid axle or IRS.
Upgrade your classic Commodore with a tank built for the next generation of power and reliability. Lowe Fabrication’s 75-litre aluminium fuel tank is engineered for VB, VC, VH, VK, VL, VN, VP, VR, and VS Commodores — whether solid axle or IRS — giving you a stronger, safer, and better-looking solution than the factory tank.
Built for Performance & Fitment
TIG-welded in-house from 3 mm aluminium, this tank is proudly Australian-made and designed for high-performance street cars, show builds, and retro restomods. We’ve refined every detail to make sure it fits right the first time:
Driver’s side cut-back for extra tyre clearance with wide wheels.
Passenger side recess to clear large-diameter exhausts.
Maintains factory ground clearance — go low without scraping.
Fuel System Ready
Whether you’re upgrading to EFI or just future-proofing, this tank comes ready for serious builds:
Integrated billet mounting ring for VE-style GM fuel level senders (not included).
-6 ORB and -8 ORB top-mounted fittings for return and feed lines.
Supplied with upgraded alloy & rubber straps for secure, long-life mounting.
Includes filler neck joiner to connect to OE filler tubes.
Why Upgrade?
Factory Commodore tanks date back to 1978 on the earliest VB models — meaning the newest is still decades old. This Lowe Fab upgrade gives you a fresh, strong foundation for any performance build, restoration, or show car project. EFI-ready and styled to suit modern retro-tech conversions, it’s the perfect blend of classic fitment and modern capability.
