Engineered for serious builds, this Lowe Fabrication fuel tank is the ultimate upgrade for your VB–VS Commodore — available to suit both solid axle or IRS.

Lowe Fabrication’s 90-litre aluminium fuel tank is engineered for VB, VC, VH, VK, VL, VN, VP, VR, and VS Commodores — whether solid axle or IRS — giving you a stronger, safer, and better-looking solution than the factory tank.
Built for Performance & Fitment
TIG-welded in-house from 3 mm aluminium, this tank is proudly Australian-made and designed for high-performance street cars, show builds, and retro restomods. We’ve refined every detail to make sure it fits right the first time:
Driver’s side cut-back for extra tyre clearance with wide wheels.
Passenger side recess to clear large-diameter exhausts.
Maintains factory ground clearance — go low without scraping.
Fuel System Options
Whether you’re upgrading to EFI or just future-proofing, this tank comes ready for serious builds:
Integrated billet mounting ring to suit either VE-style GM fuel level senders, or a Shauns Custom Alloy Triple Pump Hanger (nither included, but available seperately).
-6 ORB and -8 ORB top-mounted fittings for return and breather lines.
Supplied with revised design upgraded stainless steel straps including rubber insulatiing for secure, long-life mounting including new bolts and washers.
Includes filler neck rubber joiner to connect to OE filler tubes, inc hose clamps.
Fuel Sender Solutions
The new V2 Lowe Fab fuel tank upgrade comes included with a new facility to run an independant fuel sender for those using aftermarket pump hangers or needing specific fual guage scaling etc. All tanks now fitted with this weld in ring with the fuel sender available seperately.
Upgraded Baffled Design
WE all remember the early days of EFI and that dreaded hole in the performance when trying to corner under quarter of a tank… You can rely on that being a things of the past with these EFI tanks including internal baffles that not only increase total tank strength, but also ensuring all available fuel is spening maximum time around your fuel pump pickups, no matter the corners you are hitting. These baffles are also reworked to allow the use of our independant fuel sender unit for maximum integration, no matter the configuration you order.
Integrated Drain Plug & Fittings
Lowe Fabrications Upgraded Commodore Fuel Tanks now come with an integrated -6AN Fuel Drain port welded in place including a blanking plug aswell as hose fittings for the 8an and 6an breathers to allow for return line and 600mm hose for the charcoal canister breathers. Like all weld-on fittings, AN plugs and fittings, these are Australian Made and manufactured, Speedflow hardware!
