Strengthen your early Commodore’s front end with Lowe Fabrications’ Chassis Strengthening Plates, also known as fish plates, designed for Holden Commodore VB through to VS models.
These 4mm laser-cut steel plates weld onto the outside of the chassis rails, running from the footwell forward across the top of where the front crossmember mounts. Once installed, they dramatically increase chassis rigidity and prevent rail flex — a must for high-power engines, competition use, or engineered conversions.
Each set includes a pair of plates (left and right) and is designed for straightforward fitment. Minor trimming may be required depending on model and condition of your rails to achieve a neat, professional finish.
Once welded in, these plates provide peace of mind that your Commodore’s front end will remain rock solid and true, no matter how much torque you throw at it.
Proudly made in Australia by Lowe Fabrications — engineered for strength, performance, and long-term reliability.
Note: These plates require welding and should be installed by a qualified fabricator or mechanic.
