Rear backing plates to upgrade to VT-VZ rear brakes and handbrake
LOWE FAB VT – VZ rear brake upgrade for early model commodore (please note there is an approx 2 week turn around time from order placement)
All parts supplied in the kit to suit your VB – VS live axle are as follows:
- a new backing plate to suit borgwarner flange, 9 inch and big bearing borgwarner are a option.
- All new hand brake mechanisms.
- New handbrake cable.
- Billet bracket to suit standard vt-vz caliper
New slotted vt rotors and rebuilt and powdercoated calipers available separate on website.
Reasoning for this. The main hurdle in rear brake upgrades for years has been the different diameter hand brakes on the VT onwards models. This is the solution. All VT-VZ HSV brakes will fit and have a working handbrake.
All other parts in the kit are brand new and of the highest quality and fully manufacturer warranted.
