The new Lowe Fabrications high-performance 75-litre fuel tank for VB-VL and VN/VQ-VS Commodore sedans is now available. Proudly Australian-made, the HP75L tanks are perfect for LS conversions, especially when using a VE donor car.
With a subtle ‘drop tank’ style, these tanks complement any Commodore performance streetcar, providing extra tyre clearance on the driver’s side for big wheels/tyres, and plenty of space on the passenger side for big pipes.
Manufactured from 3mm Aluminium for extreme strength, the 75-litre size offers additional capacity over the standard tank. Our tank accepts the GM VE-spec fuel tank module – standard or aftermarket (not included, can be supplied for additional cost).
With no ground clearance compromises, our tank is a direct bolt-in fit to all sedans with no modifications required, you’ll just need to let us know whether your car has a live-axle or IRS. The tank is simple to install, using the original fuel filler neck from the factory tank (not supplied).
Top fittings are -6 orb and -8 orb.
Fuel tanks are made to order in batches of 10, current wait times are around 10-12 weeks. The next batch is due to begin production in December 2024/January 2025. The basic HP75L tank package starts at $2,750 (excluding postage*) and includes:
- HP75L tank in a satin-black powder coated finish. Other colours can be done on request and at an extra cost.
- Optional add-on of an aftermarket fuel pump module
*Shipping Policy: Due to the bulky size shipping rates can vary based on a number of factors including your shipment address and the bulk weight of your order. Local pickup is available upon request.
